As a LabAnswer consultant you will be exposed to the technologies and processes that many leading US companies utilize. We offer a generous compensation package consisting of salary, bonuses and benefits. But LabAnswer is not for everyone, our customers are located all over the US, which means you need to plan to travel at least 50% of the time. Our consultants can live in any city with a major airport and access to broadband services. In addition you can work from home when you are not traveling.

Job Description:

The LIMS System Administrator will assist in the maintenance of a LabManager system. The position will create and maintain procedures, assist in the configuration/customization of the system and provide training to staff members. This position requires flexibility with changing priorities.

Job duties and responsibilities:

      • Support LabManager LIMS or LabWare LIMS •
      • Configures and customizes LIMS
      • Integrate instruments with LIMS
      • Conducts user-training sessions for users
      • Performs entry and edit of all relevant static data
      • Acts as liaison between internal laboratory users and vendor to address various system issues
      • Evaluates product enhancements and capabilities, in addition to implementing upgrades as required

A qualified candidate will possess:

      • Two years experience in a LabManager LIMS or LabWare Administrator role
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Demonstrated working understanding of laboratory operations and practices strong organizational and/or project management skills
      • Ability to contribute to multiple projects for different business stakeholders
      • Strong analytical and problem solving skills


Location: Seeking to staff in four locations: MO, IL, GA, and NC

Status: Full Time Relevant

Work Experience: 2+ Years

Education: Bachelor Degree in chemistry or related discipline.

Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager)
